When Canadian congregations participate in our mission trips to Uganda, they step into a shared journey. It’s an opportunity to experience firsthand the vibrant faith, resilience, and hospitality of our people—while offering their own God-given gifts in support of education, healthcare, and sustainable development.

Together, we serve side by side—not from a place of difference, but from the understanding that we are one body in Christ. Through this collaboration, Joy’s Centre gains strengthened global relationships, encouragement, and the resources to better uplift vulnerable families.

What to Expect

Travel & Accommodation: We arrange group travel and safe lodging near the mission site.
• Daily Schedule: Morning devotions, full-day service projects, and cultural immersion.
• Pre-Trip Training: We prepare you with cultural orientation, packing guides, and team bonding.
• Health & Safety: We follow safety protocols, provide on-site coordinators, and ensure every volunteer has support.

Volunteer Requirements

We welcome:
• Individuals aged 18 and up
• All skill levels (no prior mission experience needed)
• A heart to serve and willingness to learn

You’ll need:
• A valid passport
• Travel medical insurance
• COVID-19/vaccine records (as required by host country)
